Daesmith has been DJing since the age of 18 after many years of listening to electronic music. He first span at school-organized parties, later on at some clubs in his hometown in Hungary dated about 1999-2000. From that time he kept evolving his skills of mixing and amusing the audience. Soon after he had the opportunity to play in clubs in the capital of Budapest and things started to be exciting.
In the last 18 years he played in almost all well-known clubs in Hungary and in some of the neighboring countries. His first impressions were trance and techno but later on he switched to house and its many kinds became dominant in his sets. His music style keeps a solid distance from the trend-line by being harmonic, yet unique and exaggerated. He was inspired by DJs like Danny Howells, Lee Burridge, Danny Tenaglia, Sven Väth, etc.
During his career Daesmith was guest – and host – at almost all Hungarian and some international online and offline electronic radio shows. Also worth mentioning his successful episode of Electronic Groove Podcast (USA) which features some of the best DJs in the world.
Daesmith had the rare privilege to play with Lee Burridge, Thomas Penton, Chriss Ronson, Nigel Marcussen, Peter Makto, Add2Basket, Polarize, Kühl, Sokab Neeon, Zack Marullo, and several other Hungarian and International DJ-s.
He was the founder of the Audio Bliss project in 2006 which was at first only series of events, later a radio show hosted by himself and friends.
He is the organizer of ECOnnect festival, a local electronic music and visual arts festival in Hungary embracing local DJs and live acts where environmental protection and consciousness plays a vital role. Daesmith has been living in Bermuda for many years, where he significantly contributed to the creation of local underground electronic music scene in a basically different cultural environment. He is currently resident in Poland and as of July 2017 he is under the auspices of Kangaroo Bookings.
