Wyjątkowy album Bjork „Voltaic” już w czerwcu
Najlepszy towar eksportowy Islandii - Bjork, wydaje album "Voltaic". Jest on nawiązaniem oraz rozwinieciem ostatniej płyty długograjacej artystki - "Volta".
23 czerwca 2009 roku na sklepowe półki trafi wyjatkowe wydawnictowo autorstwa Bjork. Bedzie to album „Voltaic”, składający się z 4 płyt! Dwie z nich w formacie audio, kolejne dwie to nagrania z trasy koncertowej oraz teledyski.
Voltaic CD 1 jest zbiorem utworów zarejestrowanych na żywo w legendarnym londyńskim studiu nagraniowym – Olympic Studios, tuż przed występem Bjork na Glastonbury Festival w 2007 roku. Całość płyty powstała zaledwie w jedno popołudnie.
Voltaic CD 2 składa się z remixów utworów Bjork z albumu „Volta”. Ich autorami są znani i cenieni artyści jak: Simian Mobile Disco, Matthew Herbert, Graeme Sinden, Ghostigital czy też Modeselektor.
Na Voltaic DVD 1 zobaczymy najciekawsze momenty z występów Bjork w Paryżu i Reykjaviku. Oprócz materiału z „Volta” na płycie znajdziemy także kilka klasyków w postaci Hunter, Joga, Army of Me oraz Hyperballad.
Voltaic DVD 2 to zbiór teledysków do utworów z albumu „Volta”. Są to m.in.: “Declare Independence” wyreżyserowany przez zdobywcę oskara – francuza Michela Gondry, “Earth Intruders” w reżyserii znanego francuskiego animatora Michela Ocelota czy też “Wanderlust”.
